Your Most Important Talking Partner

Regardless of what others might say (or snicker behind your back) – YOU are the M.I.P. (Most Important Person) to have a conversation with.  (I admit, though, there is no real reason to have this conversation out loud!)

Too often we ignore ourselves – or parts of ourselves – that are providing necessary information.  We have our own internal bias to overcome.  Ask yourself – which part of your mind/body/spirit do you trust and which parts do you routinely ignore?

We have been taught for a long time that the Conscious Mind is the seat of all fear and obstruction, and in some sense, should not be trusted.  We discount it’s advice unlessit’s a ‘left brain’ situation – practical, analytical, strutured, etc.

We have been told that the Unconscious, the seat of our intuition, should be listened to at all times.  Right Brain should rule Left Brain for us to succeed.  We need a creative, intuitive approach to every problem in order to manifest the results we want.

Too often we ignore the helpful insights, flashes of knowing and warnings that we give ourselves because we have instilled in ourselves an innate distrust of our own ability to give ourselves advice!  We think that we can only believe it if some expert tells us, or we read it somewhere, or perhaps it’s atested to on the web.

Take a look today and see which parts of you are being neglected.  Begin to communicate and attempt to understand and value their contributions to your Life and your decision making processes.

Intuition is necessary in business and mathematics and commerce.  Analytical thinking is needed in bringing artistic creations into being – procuring needed tools and supplies and best prices for your wares.

My best advise today is:  TALK TO YOURSELF!

And if you’re having problems doing that, talk to me about a Strategy Session.
