What Kind of Busy is Good?

It’s Monday, and the word Busy comes to mind.  It could be a severely busy day – if I let it.  Better said, it could be a day of expending a lot of energy and feeling drained at the end.

The busy that is good is an inspired busy.  My friend, Mel, was talking about Bees in the next issue of Signposts (www.profitwithspirit.com) and being seemingly mindlessly busy. I realized that it’s impossible to tell from the outside if someone is mindlessly busy – or inspiredly busy.

That’s an inside job.  You are the only one who knows if you are hiding in a smoke screen of busy-ness – or actually following a productive, energy producing path.  Think about the wonderful feeling of accomplishment that comes when you are pleasantly tired, but loving your results – and see if what you have planned today fits that criteria!

If it doesn’t, I invite you to reconsider, and reinvent your day!
