‘Almost There’ is a Success Never Never Land
“Almost There” or “Just at the Edge” of success – do either of these phrases appear in your vocabulary for your business success or personal life?
`Almost There’ can be a nice resting place – for a short time. But, if you are continually using it as a home address, something is stalled for you, and needs to be changed. When your business is `almost profitable’, or your sales results are` almost good enough’ to meet your goals you must find a way to move forward.
The first step is to change your perspective. “If at first you don’t succeed, change your definition of success, one Twitter advised last week.” And that can be a useful idea.
Celebrate and define what you have done; where you are now; what you have accomplished in your business and personal life.
This celebration can create a new launching pad to success in selling – or business – or life -from the ‘almost there’ space you were living in. A celebration juices up your energy and makes taking the next needed step toward success that much easier.
Never give up your dream, just re-launch toward your goal insteak of hanging out in Never Never (Almost ) Land. Get some help if you need it, from a coach or an advisor, but keep going. You’ll only regret it if you stop now.
